Care Details
The look of brass will naturally change over time and with exposure to weather conditions. Proximity to water and sea air may particularly affect the surface. Semi-precious stones, with their unique veins and colors, also evolve gracefully, developing subtle shifts that celebrate their natural character.
We recommend:
For daily cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth.
If the piece gets wet, dry it as quickly as possible.
For polished brass surfaces, use only a smooth cloth.
For brushed or aged brass finishes, use only a soft brush.
To remove stains or restore shine on brass, clean gently with a soft cloth and a trusted brass cleaner, following the product instructions.
For semi-precious stones, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid soaking, acidic substances, or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the stone’s surface.
Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive materials, or general cleaning products, as these may damage or scratch the surfaces.
Each nuance in tone and texture is part of the piece’s journey, reflecting the quiet elegance of time and nature.

Process
Each ANOM creation is a celebration of time - honoured metalworking traditions, brought to life through the hands of skilled artisans. Every process reflects a dialogue between material and maker, preserving heritage while embracing innovation.
Repoussé – The brass is shaped from the reverse side to create intricate, raised forms. This technique allows the metal to flow organically, giving each piece sculptural depth and softness.
Chasing – Working from the front, artisans refine and define the repoussé details with precision, adding texture, shadows, and character to the surface.
Casting – Molten brass is poured into moulds to form fluid, sculptural shapes that capture both organic and architectural inspirations, embodying Anom’s sense of movement and balance.
Hammering – The surface is hand-textured through rhythmic hammer strokes, revealing the mark of the maker and giving each piece its unique tactile identity.
Stone Inlay – Fine stones are carefully embedded into brass surfaces, introducing subtle accents of colour and luxury that enhance the narrative of material contrast.
Welding – At Anom, welding is taken beyond its functional role. Through refined craftsmanship and controlled precision, we transform this process into an expressive art form time-honoured creating bold, sculptural compositions where the joinery itself becomes a design statement. This evolution of welding merges strength with aesthetic intent, redefining contemporary metal artistry.
